Qualifications: I graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. I enjoyed a couple of years dabbling in Mesoamerican Archaeology in Belize before going to graduate school at Texas Woman’s University. I got my Master of Science Degree in Communication Science and Disorders in 2004. This summer, I got trained and certified as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist.

This is my 4th year at Hubbard Heights and my 21st year in education. I have been an SLP since 2005. I am married to another FWISD employee. Our daughter is a freshman at Hill School, and our son is a 1st grader at Overton Park Elementary. We have a dachshund named "Stink", a polydactyl, black, Siamese cat named "Mittens", and a bunny named "Mama's Bunny. Leave him alone." I absolutely love being a Speech Language Pathologist!! I get to work with my students to be better listeners, better speakers, and better writers.
