About Me

Hello parents and students! I am happy to be working with you this 2025-2026 school year! I obtained my BS and MLS degrees from Texas Woman's University and am also a product of FWISD. I am returning to Hubbard Heights after 9 years and have taught in classrooms and served as a school librarian for prek-5th grade for the past 17 years in FWISD, LEISD, and LDISD. I enjoy learning about students and utilizing their interests to help them grow. I have a big fluffy dog named Ellie, an older sister who lives in Ohio, and a 5-year old niece starting kindergarten this year. I am looking forward to working with you this year!

¡Hola padres y estudiantes! ¡Me alegra trabajar con ustedes este año escolar 2025-2026! Obtuve mi licenciatura y maestría en literatura en la Universidad de la Mujer de Texas y también soy egresada del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Fairfield (FWISD). Regreso a Hubbard Heights después de 9 años y he impartido clases y sido bibliotecaria escolar desde preescolar hasta quinto grado durante los últimos 17 años en el FWISD, el LEISD y el LDISD. Disfruto aprendiendo sobre los estudiantes y aprovechando sus intereses para ayudarlos a crecer. Tengo una perrita grande y esponjosa llamada Ellie, una hermana mayor que vive en Ohio y una sobrina de 5 años que empieza kínder este año. ¡Espero con ansias trabajar con ustedes este año!
