Counselor
Hubbard Heights Elementary provides a proactive, comprehensive counseling program for students.
Goal:
To foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student is empowered to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, regardless of their background.
Mission:
As an elementary school counselor in a Title 1 school, my mission is to advocate for and support the development of each student by providing access to resources, personalized guidance, and social emotional learning. I am to collaborate with with teachers, families, and the community to remove barriers to learning and ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed.

What does a Counselor do?
- Helps identify needs of children/parents/faculty
- Works with individuals and groups
- Coordinates referrals to outside agencies
- Supports students relationships
