The purpose of Student Council is to be an active voice for the students and to work with the faculty and staff with the approval of the administration for the good of Hubbard Heights Elementary. Every year in October students in 4th and 5th grade have the opportunity to run for a position on our Student Council. We select the top 10 majority vote and 10 more students are selected based on Teacher recommendation and their essay. 

Through projects and activities, student councils work to:

• PROMOTE SCHOLARSHIP
• PROMOTE LEADERSHIP
• PROMOTE HUMAN RELATIONS
• PROMOTE CULTURAL VALUES
